Miner baseball team to hold winter prospect camps Dec. 12 & 13

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T will hold a series of winter prospect camps on the weekend of Dec. 12 and 13 for high school players.

With limitations on the sessions at a maximum of 10 players, the camp will be broken up into six sessions over the two-day period.   The camps will be held at the Miner Dome at the S&T athletic facility, or the S&T Ballpark if the weather and conditions permit.  The camp is for high school players during the 2020-21 school year and will consist of a pro-style workout; each camper will be given an individual evaluation.

The cost for the camp is $60 for each individual; those taking part in the camp will need to bring proper equipment including footwear for both turf and natural surfaces.  Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The camp schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Dec. 12: Pitchers and catchers session.  Registration check-in at 9:30 a.m.; camp begins at 10 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 12: Pitchers and catchers session.  Registration check-in at 12:30 p.m.; camp begins at 1 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 12: Pitchers and catchers session.  Registration check-in at 3:30 p.m.; camp begins at 4 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 13: Outfielders session.  Registration check-in at 9:30 a.m.; camp begins at 10 a.m.
Sunday, Dec. 13: Outfielders session.  Registration check-in at 12:30 p.m.; camp begins at 1 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 13: Infielders session.  Registration check-in at 3:30 p.m.; camp begins at 4 p.m.

NOTE: An accurate roster of all attendees will be compiled and maintained for 30 days from the date of the event for potential contact tracing purposes.  Hand sanitizer and additional face coverings will be made available to all guests.  Temperatures of attendees will be taken upon arrival and attendees will need to wear face coverings per university policy.  Parents will not be allowed to attend the camp sessions due to capacity guidelines per COVID-19 protocols.
