Rolla, Mo. – The Missouri S&T Miner volleyball squad begins a five game roadtrip heading to Indiana this weekend to take on Indianapolis and Saint Joseph's this weekend. The Miners and Greyhounds will square off Friday night in Indianapolis and then S&T will head up the road to Rensselaer, Ind., on Saturday to take on the Pumas.

The Miners (3-7, 0-2 GLVC) look to bounce back after a pair of tough losses at home this past weekend. S&T struggled to find its offensive rhythm against Lewis and Wisconsin-Parkside averaging just 11 kills per set and had an attack percentage of .128. The Miners also struggled to get their block going on the defensive side of the ball registering just nine total blocks in the two matches.

Claire Friedlund (Parkville, Mo./Park Hill South) continues to lead the offensive attack with 3.4 kills per set and has a hitting percentage of .229. Carson Talley (St. Louis, Mo./Affton) is averaging 2.00 kills/set and has an attack percentage of .228. Alexis White (Auburn, Wash./Riverside) is dishing out more than nine assists per set while Corinne Stulce (St. Charles, Mo./Duchesne) is digging up 4.68 digs per set.

Indianapolis also enters Friday's match with a record of 3-7 but is 1-1 in league play. The Greyhounds were swept at Missouri-St. Louis last Friday and then bounced back to defeat Maryville in five sets on Saturday. Friday's contest is a rematch of last year's GLVC Tournament Quarterfinal match which was won by UIndy in four sets.

The 'Hounds offensive attack is led by Anna Fehribach and Becca Lira who are averaging 2.84 and 2.57 kills per set respectively. Remi Bowman quarterbacks the UIndy offense distributing 10 assists/set while Maggie Gibson is the leader on the defensive side of the ball with 3.10 digs per set.

Saint Joseph's is 2-8, 0-2 GLVC on the season heading into its match with Drury on Friday. The Pumas opened conference play on the road last weekend getting swept at Maryville and then fell to Missouri-St. Louis in four sets. SJC has dropped five of its last six matches overall.

Julia Kruzan and Bridget Krasowski lead the Puma offense averaging 2.95 and 2.39 kills per set respectively. Alyssa Spears is handing out 7.5 assists per set while Jena Davis leads the way on the defensive side of the ball with nearly three digs per set.
