Rolla, Mo. - The Missouri S&T Lady Miners conclude its four-game homestand this weekend welcoming 25th ranked Bellarmine and Southern Indiana to Billy Key Court. The Lady Miners and Knights will square off on Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m. S&T will then take on the Screaming Eagles at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Miners dropped games last week to Truman State and Quincy to open its homestand and now has the task of facing a Bellarmine squad off to a 15-2 start - 9-2 in the GLVC - matching its best record after 17 games in a season. Meanwhile, S&T comes into the contest at 6-12 overall and 2-9 in conference play.

Bria Pierce (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley North) continues to lead the Lady Miners in scoring with an average of 11.1 points per game, while Raetchel Gray (Allen, Okla./Byng ) comes into the contest with a mark of 9.2 a contest and has a team-high 59 assists. Jamy Douvier (Sedgwick, Kan./Sunrise Christian Academy) is the top rebounder with 7.1 per game and is scoring 8.9 points per outing and Janie Arand (Washington, Mo./St. Francis Borgia) is hitting 39.3 percent of her three-point attempts.

Bellarmine has been paced this season by Sarah Galvin, named Monday as the GLVC's "Player of the Week" after averaging 19 points in wins over Saint Joseph's and Indianapolis.

Galvin is the lone Knight averaging double figures with a mark of 18.5 points per game, but four others are scoring at least eight a game for a squad that enters Thursday's contest leading the GLVC in scoring with an average of 77.2 points a game.

Destony Curry is averaging 9.7 points a game and Whitney Hartlage is averaging 9.4 a contest while leading the team with 36 three-point baskets, hitting just over 40 percent of her attempts in the process. The Knights are also getting 8.4 points a game from Beth Bowers.

Galvin is Bellarmine's top rebounder with 8.5 a game and Mackenzie Martinez has 61 assists. The Knights are also tops in the GLVC in three-point defense, holding foes to 25.6 percent from long range.

Southern Indiana is on an eight-game losing streak, its longest skid since losing 12 straight in 1991-92, heading into Thursday's game at Drury. For the Screaming Eagles to break their skid they'll have to earn their first-ever win over Drury in Springfield, Missouri.

Thursday's game is a rematch of last year's GLVC Tournament Championship that saw Drury rally from an 18-point second half deficit to defeat the Eagles, 68-65.

Leading USI into the weekend are Hannah Wascher who is averaging a team-best 14.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, while Tanner Marcum is chipping in with 12.3 points and 3.3 assists per contest. Kaydie Grooms contributing 10.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per outing.
