ROLLA, Mo. -- Missouri S&T women's basketball senior forward Morgan Luebbering (St. Thomas, MO/Fatima) has been named a recipient of the Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow Award, presented by the Missouri Milken Educators in partnership with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Luebbering, a senior majoring in early childhood education, earned the honor following her student-teaching experience during the fall 2025 semester at Mark Twain Elementary School in Rolla. The Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow program recognizes future educators who demonstrate strong potential in the classroom and a commitment to excellence in the teaching profession.
As part of the award, recipients are paired with an award-winning educator who serves as a mentor during their first year of teaching, helping guide their transition into the profession.
A native of St. Thomas, Missouri, Luebbering will graduate from Missouri S&T in May and has already secured a full-time teaching position at Thorpe Gordon STEM Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri, beginning in the fall.
