(Rolla, Mo.) – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners conclude their four-game homestand this week hosting the Marvyille Saints on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. and then will square off with the Tritons of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Lady Miners look to rebound from a heartbreaking 70-68 loss to Rockhurst when they take on the Saints on Thursday. S&T trailed by as many as 11 points to the Hawks before rallying to take a 10-point lead with 5:16 to play. Rockhurst outscored the Lady Miners 22-10 the rest of the way to pick up their first ever win in Rolla.

For the season S&T is averaging 69.1 points per game and is led in scoring by Mia Wesley (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) with 16.5 per contest. Toni Knar (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) and Karli Sample (St. Joseph, Mo./Benton) are averaging 12.8 and 10.8 per game respectively while Kylie Cooper (Andover, Kan./Andover) is dropping 9.6 per game. The Lady Miners have connected on 44.4 percent of their shots from the floor which is fourth in the GLVC and is 80-for-225 (35.6 percent) from beyond the arc.

Maryville enters Thursday's contest with a record of 9-7, 2-4 in the GLVC. The Saints, defending GLVC West champs, have dropped three of their last four contests after losing at home to Quincy 73-71 and Truman State 87-73 last week. Maryville is averaging 75.1 points per game while yielding just 64.9 per contest. It is shooting 41.9 percent from the field, but has connected on only 29.5 percent of its attempts from the three-point line. Shelby Miller leads three Saint players in double figures with 14.3 points per game while Alex Hillyer and Samantha Robison are contributing 12.5 and 10.6 points respectively to the attack.

Thursday's game will be the 11th meeting all-time in the series with S&T leading 6-4; however, Maryville has won the last three contests.

Saturday's opponent, Missouri-St. Louis, is 11-4 on the season and 4-3 in league play heading into Thursday's game at ninth-ranked Drury. The Tritons have lost three straight and had their 10-game winning streak snapped by Lewis in a 67-60 defeat on Jan. 11 in St. Louis.
