ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's swimming team has moved up two spots to sixth in the latest national poll for NCAA Division II released today by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The Miners were at eighth in the rankings at the end of the first semester and moved up during January as they competed twice against then-No. 2 Incarnate Word and No. 5 California-San Diego and defeated Southern Illinois in a dual meet. The Miners enter the final portion of their schedule with six individuals automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships that will take place in March in Birmingham., Ala.
Missouri S&T's next competition takes place at the New South Intercollegiate Swimming Championships, which begins Feb. 13 at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss.
