Box Score (Evansville, Ind.) – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners struggles on the offensive end continued on Thursday night, but it was able to overcome them to defeat Southern Indiana 55-50 in overtime to remain perfect in league play. With the win S&T snapped its two-game losing streak.

The Lady Miners (9-2, 4-0 GLVC) scored the first points of the contest on a jumper from Courtney Kemp (Fredricktown, Mo./Fredricktown) before falling into a hole. Julie Meyer (Marthasville, Mo./St. Francis Borgia) made it 20-17 at the 6:31 mark, but Cayla Herbst pushed the advantage back to five two minutes later.
Hailee Parks (Sullivan, Mo./Sullivan) brought the Lady Miners back to within a basket on an old fashioned three-point play at the 3:39 mark, but

Carpenter answered with her second triple of the half extending the advantage back to five.

Meyer and Parks combined to score the next six points allowing S&T to regain a 26-25 advantage with more than a minute to play in the opening frame. The lead didn't last though as Leeburg hit a jumper at the buzzer to send USI into the locker room with a 27-26 lead at the break.

S&T tied it back up when Meyer split a pair with 2:43 left and then took the lead when Parks made 1-of-2 from the foul line with 1:15 left.
