Lewis had a couple of opportunities in the final 10 minutes but the S&T defense stood tall blocking one shot and then Stacey Luquette (St. Amant, La./St. Amant ) made a huge save off a header from Amanda Slove with less than eight minutes remaining.

The Flyers had one more crack at tying the game but Fran Abate's shot in the 87th minute went wide left.
