ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri S&T women's soccer standout Adriana Benassi (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit) has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Third Team Academic All-America, recognizing her excellence both academically and on the pitch.

A sophomore attack, Benassi recorded a 4.0 cumulative GPA while majoring in mechanical engineering, adding the Academic All-America honor to an already decorated 2025 campaign that included D2CCA Women's Soccer First Team All-Midwest Region and First Team All-GLVC accolades.

Benassi led Missouri S&T in nearly every major offensive category, finishing the season with 14 goals and 32 points, while also ranking second on the team in assists (4). Her seven game-winning goals led the GLVC, and her 14 total goals ranked second in the conference, helping propel the Miners to a 9-6-4 overall record and a run to the GLVC Championship Semifinals.

Across 19 matches, Benassi attempted 87 shots, the most on the team, placing 40 on target for a .460 shots-on-goal percentage, while posting a .161 shooting percentage.

She delivered multiple signature performances throughout the season, recording a hat trick against UIndy and adding two-goal efforts against William Jewell and Southwest Baptist, giving her three multi-goal performances on the year.

The CSC Academic All-America program honors student-athletes who excel at the highest level in both academics and athletics, and Benassi's recognition further underscores Missouri S&T women's soccer's commitment to excellence in all areas.
