Adriana Benassi Named D2CCA First Team All-Midwest Region

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T standout forward Adriana Benassi (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit) has been selected to the 2025 D2CCA Women's Soccer All-Midwest Region First Team, the association announced Tuesday. Benassi earns the honor following one of the most dominant offensive seasons, becoming the first Miner to earn First Team distinction.

Benassi led Missouri S&T in nearly every major offensive category during the 2025 campaign, finishing with 14 goals and 32 points, also ranking No. 2 in assists with four.

Her seven game-winning goals ranked first in the GLVC, while her 14 total goals ranked second in the conference and helped drive the Miners to a 9-6-4 overall record and a run to the GLVC Championship Semifinals.

Across 19 matches, Benassi attempted 87 shots, the most on the team, and placed 40 on target, posting a .460 shots-on-goal percentage and a .161 shooting percentage.

She recorded a hat trick against UIndy and added braces against William Jewell and Southwest Baptist, giving her three multi-goal performances on the year.

Her most critical moment of the season came in the GLVC Quarterfinals, where she scored the lone goal in S&T's 1-0 upset of No. 1 seed Missouri-St. Louis, sending the Miners to the semifinals.

Benassi's First Team All-Region selection now places her in contention for D2CCA All-America honors, which will be announced in December.
