Biography
Returner who will battle for the starting goalkeeper spot…last season she allowed one goal in six contests, four starts... went 4-0 with a 0.24 goals against average and two shutouts... she combined for a shutout with Kelsey Kurilla in S&T's 1-0 win over Rockhurst... she shutout Kentucky Wesleyan and Indianapolis... made 17 saves including a season-high six against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 8... matched that against Indianapolis on the final day of the regular season... as a sophomore she appeared in five games, with two starts going 1-1-1…made a season-high nine saves at Upper Iowa on Sept. 4…recorded her win on Oct. 11 at Kentucky Wesleyan…as a redshirt freshman she appeared in nine contests with six starts going 2-2 with a 1.75 goals against average…she stopped 27 shots on the year while recording a career-high with five saves at Tiffin then matched it at Emporia State and against Washington-St. Louis…she was part of two combined shutouts…earned first-team all-metro and most valuable player honors for the 2007 season after being a second-team all-state selection and first-team all-district and all-metro selection in 2006…was an all-district pick in each of her four years at the high school level…was named as her team's defensive most valuable player in the 2004 season when her team reached the District 5 semifinals…ranked in the top five percent of her senior class and was selected to the NFCA All-America Scholar team in 2004…was a member of the Louisiana Olympic Development Program team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ron and Ginger Luquette…attended St. Amant High School…majoring in petroleum engineering... her sister Kelly plays softball at Troy University.
