PERU, Ind. -- Missouri S&T Men's Golf wrapped up their third tournament of the 2026-27 season yesterday. Shooting +45 and placing 14th at the Midwest Collegiate.
S&T's best round was round 1, with the top four shooting +9. The team combined for 15 birdies in that round, with
Haikal Putera (Selangor, Malaysia/IMG Academy) and
Thomas Heisner (Crestwood, MO/Lindbergh) each recording five. The team ended the tournament with 42 birdies, tying them for the ninth-most in the field.
Andy Su (Poole, England/Poole) led the Miners overall for the second time this season, shooting +9 and tying for 44th overall. His best round came in round 2 where he recorded six birdies and shot just one over par. Putera was one of the best golfers on par fives at the event, tying for fifth overall with a 4.67 scoring average on par five holes.
What's Next
S&T's next tournament will be October 12-13 in Findlay, Ohio where they will compete at the Doc Spragg Invitational.
