BOLIVAR, Mo. — Missouri S&T women's soccer rallied from an early two-goal deficit Wednesday night, scoring three unanswered goals at one point to defeat Southwest Baptist 4-3 at SBU Soccer Field.
The Miners (4-2-2, 3-1-2 GLVC) fell behind 2-0 in the opening eight minutes before quickly answering with three goals before halftime.
Ella Kramer (Liberty, MO/Liberty North) got Missouri S&T on the board in the 12th minute when she converted a pass from
Aubrey Case (Yorktown, VA/Tabb).
Morgan Pack (San Diego, CA/Academy of Our Lady of Peace) then tied the match in the 19th minute, again with Case providing the assist.
Kramer put the Miners ahead just before halftime, converting a penalty kick in the 40th minute to give S&T a 3-2 advantage at the break.
Southwest Baptist (2-6-1, 0-5-0 GLVC) tied the match again in the 59th minute on a goal from Juana Fernandez Calvo.
The Miners answered less than 12 minutes later.
Drue Gaal (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) scored in the 70th minute to put S&T back in front 4-3, and the Miners held on through the final 20 minutes to secure the victory.
Missouri S&T outshot Southwest Baptist 18-4 and held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Catie Riddle (Westland, MI/Churchill) made one save in goal for the Miners.
Kramer finished with two goals on four shots, while Gaal and Pack each added a goal. Case recorded two assists.

Saturday in St. Louis, Mo. They take on Maryville University. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
