ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri S&T women's soccer battled Illinois Springfield to a 1-1 draw Saturday at Allgood-Bailey Stadium on Senior Day.
Before the match, Missouri S&T took time to recognize its seniors as part of Senior Day, honoring the team's graduating student-athletes for their contributions to the Miners' soccer program. They recognized

Savannah Tully (Elkhart, IN/Elkhart),
Aubrey Case (Yorktown, VA/Tabb),
Haylee Prime (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy Orange),
Drue Gaal (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood),
Brooke Bendoff (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood),
Grace Young (Sykesville, MD/Liberty), and
Morgan Pack (San Diego, CA/Academy of Our Lady of Peace).
Illinois Springfield opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Rachel Riney found the back of the net off an assist from Sophia Davila, giving the Prairie Stars a 1-0 advantage. Missouri S&T goalkeeper
Catie Riddle (Westland, MI/Churchill) made three saves in the opening half to keep the Miners within a goal.
Missouri S&T answered in the 62nd minute when Marti scored to even the match at 1-1. The goal was Marti's first of the season.
Neither team could find a winning goal over the final 28 minutes, as both defenses held firm to preserve the draw. Riddle finished with three saves for the Miners, while Illinois Springfield goalkeeper Gigi Yurevich also recorded three saves.
Missouri S&T finished with eight shots, including four on goal, while Illinois Springfield recorded 10 shots with four on target. The Miners held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The draw moves Missouri S&T's record to 3-2-2 overall and 2-1-2 in GLVC play. Illinois Springfield is now 3-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in conference action.
What's Next
The Miners will travel to Bolivar, Mo., to take on Southwest Baptist. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
