Their first-round game will be Thursday, May 14th at 11 a.m. EST against No. 5 Davenport University. The Miners enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest, the highest seed that the program has received since the region expanded to eight teams.
About the Miners

They hold a 34-18 overall record, earning the No. 4 seed in the region after a regular season that included a program record for games won in-conference as well as the team's first outright regular season conference title since 1972.

Dylan Wipf (Oak Park, IL/River Forest) who earned a save against Drury and closed out the final inning of S&T's 14-10 comeback victory against Indianapolis.
Garrett Meyer (Jacksonville, IL/Jacksonville) recorded seven RBIs at the GLVC tournament, setting a program record for RBIs in a single season with 64.
Will Muench (Wentzville, MO/Timberland) and
Drew Baugus (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) led the team in batting during the tournament, hitting .600 and .533 while each recorded three RBIs. Baugus also added seven runs during the tournament, leading the tournament in that metric.
