GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Missouri S&T Swimming has garnered two Academic All-America honorees from College Sports Communicators, with Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West) and Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) both receiving the honor. Christensen was named to the First Team, while Wiedemeier received Second Team laurels.

Christensen earned CSC First Team honors after a stellar senior campaign. The Coralville, Iowa native finished second in the 100 breast at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships, earning All-GLVC honors with a time of 53.08 that was over a second faster than his previous best. He earned invites to the NCAA Division II Championships for his times in the 100 and 200 breast, also qualifying in the 100 fly and the 200 individual medley with B-cut times. Christensen earned CSCAA All-America honors in both breast events, finishing first team in the 100 breast and second team in the 200 breast.

Wiedemeier was named CSC Second Team after his third consecutive season reaching nationals. The junior from West Monroe, Louisiana, was invited to participate in the 200 free at the national meet. B-cut times in the 50 free and 100 free earned him two more events at the national meet as well. Wiedemeier ended the meet with two CSCAA All-America honors, earning second team in both the 100 and 200 free.
