INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Missouri S&T men's volleyball swept the Great Lakes Valley Conference weekly awards, as Grant Edmonds (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison) was named GLVC Setter of the Week and Aaron Sallade (Palatine, Ill./William Fremd) earned GLVC Offensive Player of the Week honors following a standout weekend for the Miners. 

 

Edmonds collects his seventh Setter of the Week award this season after another record-setting performance. The junior setter totaled 87 assists across seven sets, averaging over 12 assists per set, while adding two service aces, 15 digs, two blocks, and a kill. 

 

Edmonds highlighted the weekend by setting a new program record for assists in a three-set match with 42, continuing to build on a historic season in which he now holds every assists record in Missouri S&T history. Edmonds currently ranks third nationally in assists per set at 10.62 and played a key role in helping the Miners extend their winning streak to nine matches. 

 

Sallade earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Miners with 38 total points and tying for the team lead with 32 kills. He hit an impressive .393 on the week, including a dominant 16-kill, one-error performance in the opening match for a .556 hitting percentage. 

 

In addition to his offensive production, Sallade contributed across the board with two service aces, five blocks, and 15 digs, showcasing his all-around impact. His efforts were instrumental in Missouri S&T's continued success as the team pushed its win streak to nine.
