RICHMOND, Ky. -- Missouri S&T Men's Golf finished third at the Findlay Spring Invitational, shotting five-under and beating out #25 Wayne State (MI) and #43 Hillsdale.
Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) led the Miners, earning first individually with a score of -15 and recording the second-best 54-hole total in program history.
The Miners started off rough as a team, shooting +8 in the first round while Rohizam provided some hope with a -4 in the opening round.
Li Kasule (Stockholm, Sweden/Upplands-Brogymnasiet) aided the cause in round 2, shooting even while Rohizam went subpar again with a -3 for a team total of +1 in round two.
Four Miners shot below par on the final day, led by Rohizam who tied for the fewest strokes in a round out at the tournament with a 64. Rohizam's -8 in the final round was enough to push him into the by a six strokes and earn him the individual title as the team finished third.

The Miners will wrap up their March at the Belterra Invite next weekend.
