Basketball Slides to #24 in NABC

ROLLA, MO  --  Missouri S&T Men's Basketball slid back to #24 in the newest poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches. They maintain a 14-4 record on the season.

The Miners have come up just short in two of their previous three conference games, suffering losses to Indianapolis on the road as well as to the now-ranked McKendree Bearcats. However, they bounced back against Lewis, soundly defeating the Flyers for their largest margin of victory in a conference game since 1999. The Miners will look to carry that momentum into a three-game homestand starting with Upper Iowa tonight for Whiteout.

Despite the recent setbacks, S&T remains ranked in the national poll, making it 57 consecutive weeks in the rankings. They are now joined in the rankings by #23 McKendree who is making their program debut in the national poll. The Miners are now one of six Midwest region teams ranked, with Grand Valley State leading the way at #14 in the poll.
