ROLLA, MO -- Missouri S&T Baseball has picked up two games this week, setting a doubleheader vs Missouri Valley College for tomorrow at 11am. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games.
About the Miners
The Miners won their first two games of the season on Monday, ending their series against Wayne State College 2-1. The team is hitting .337 after their opening series and outscored WSC by five runs.
Drew Baugus (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) is leading the team with 8 hits on 13 at bats for a .615 batting average and leads the team in runs scored with five.
About the Vikings
Missouri Valley is 0-8 this season, getting swept in series against Ottawa and Ecclesia to start the season. They lost four of their first eight contest by eleven or more runs, including a 16-1 loss to Ecclesia on Friday. They have a .192 batting average this season and are allowing opponents to hit at .343 this year.
