ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri S&T's men's cross-country team is ranked fifth in the latest Division II United States Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association regional rankings and 29th nationally, continuing to receive recognition for its strong start to the 2026 season.
The Miners have turned in several strong performances throughout the season, including a team victory at the Queen City After Dark to open the campaign. Missouri S&T also posted a strong showing at the Southern Stampede in Joplin, Missouri, finishing third out of 28 teams. The Miners continued to establish themselves among the top teams in the region.
The fifth-place regional ranking put Missouri S&T among the leading teams in the Midwest Region, while its No. 29 national ranking places the Miners among the top teams in Division II.
What's Next
Missouri S&T will continue its season next Saturday, October 10, as the Miners look to build on their season success and position themselves for the postseason. They will travel to Warrensburg, Mo. for the Brian T. Simpson Invite.
