INDIANAPOLIS, IN  —  Missouri S&T Baseball has been voted to finish seventh in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason poll. The defending GLVC conference tournament champions received 125 votes in the poll. 

Missouri S&T is returning several key pieces from last year's championship team, including 2025 ABCA Midwest All-Region honoree Drew Baugus (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) and Midwest Region All-Defensive honoree Will Beckham (Mountain Home, AR/Mountain Home). The Miners did lose some of their top contributors to the bullpen though, with Ethan Morrow (Lenexa, KS/Shawnee Mission West), Jacob Cook (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community), and Estin McBroom (Monett, MO/Monett) all graduating last May. Meanwhile, recent transfers Ethan Payne (Bentonville, AR/Bentonville), Caleb Horsey (Springdale, AR/Springdale), and Cory Chostner (Columbia, MO/Hickman) are expected to play key roles in the new season.
