ROLLA, MO -- Missouri S&T Men's Basketball dropped to #16 in the newest National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, falling seven spots after suffering the third loss of the season.
The Miners drop Thursday nights home tilt against RV McKendree 70-59 to drop to 13-3 overall this season and 7-2 in conference. S&T was set for a home game against Illinois Springfield on that Saturday, but had to postpone it until February 10th due to a winter storm.
S&T is still the only Great Lakes Valley Conference team ranked, with McKendree being the only other conference school receiving votes. The Miners are third out of five Midwest Region teams in the rankings, trailing behind #6 Michigan Tech and #10 Northern Michigan while leading #20 Walsh and #23 Grand Valley State.
