Rohizam Named GLVC Golfer of the Week After Runner-Up Finish at UIndy Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Missouri S&T's Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Golf Player of the Week following his standout performance at the UIndy Fall Invitational. The honor is Rohizam's second GLVC weekly award of the season.

Rohizam paced the Miners to a sixth-place team finish in their second event of the fall, placing second overall in a field of 83 golfers and leading all GLVC competitors. The Selangor, Malaysia native fired rounds of 69-67-69 to post an 11-under-par total of 205, marking one of the strongest performances of his S&T career.

With the result, Rohizam not only secured runner-up honors individually but also helped the Miners place second among the four GLVC programs competing in the tournament.

What's Next
Missouri S&T will return to action Oct. 6-7 when the Miners travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for the NCAA National Preview at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
