NORMAN, Okla. – Missouri S&T Golf has been awarded the Platform Golf Team Academic Award and the Presidents Special Recognition for maintaining a 3.5 team GPA.
For the sixth time in seven seasons, Missouri S&T Golf has earned the Platform Golf Team Academic award. The Miners were one of 19 NCAA Division II programs to earn the Presidents Special Recognition for achieving a 3.5 team GPA. They joined Indianapolis and Missouri-St. Louis as the only GLVC programs with the award.
33 other NCAA Division II programs were recognized as All-Academic teams. Maryville and Rockhurst were recipients from the GLVC.
This is the sixth time since the restart of Men's Golf in 2018 that S&T has been awarded by the GCAA.
A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award. 129 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.
