KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri S&T Men's Soccer was awarded the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award.
Missouri S&T Men's Soccer achieved a 3.51 team GPA in the 2024-25 season to earn the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award.
A total of 721 soccer teams (296 men, 425 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Miners had 23 total student-athletes named to the GLVC All-Academic team for maintaining a 3.3 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
Kai Niland (San Francisco, CA/Monte Vista),
Rodrigo Vargas (Santiago, Chile/The Kent School),
Owen Verning (Collinsville, IL/Maryville Christian) and
Joao Vieira (Punta del Este, Uruguay/International College) all earned the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award for earning a 4.0 GPA.
S&T has earned the award every year since 2018 under head coach
Robert Cummings.
