ROLLA, MO -- Coach Matt Perry continues to add to his roster for the upcoming 2025 season, bringing in five more student-athletes to bolster the Miners Women's Soccer program.
Adriana Benassi | Forward | Lee's Summit, MO
A 5'9" forward, Benassi joins the Miners after spending her freshman season with University of Missouri-Kansas City. Despite only starting 8 matches for the Roos, she led UMKC in scoring with 5 goals on the season and earned the Summit League Offensive Peak Perfomer award on September 23rd after a 2 goal, 1 assist performance against Northern Colorado. Benassi will also compete for S&T women's basketball, much like her brother Alex who is entering his senior season with the men's team.

With her athleticism, strength, pace, and knack for scoring goals, she's poised to hit the ground running and be a key contributor to our squad."
Madeline Falls | Goalkeeper | Gilbert, AZ
A 5'9" true freshman from Gilbert, Arizona, Falls is the lone goalkeeper in Perry's 2025 recruiting class. She joins the Miners after spending her high school career competing at Benjamin Franklin Charter High School where she also competed in track & field, flag football, and JV basketball. She will continue to compete in track and field at S&T, joining Benassi as another dual-sport athlete in the 2025 class.

Ava Napieralski | Defender | Keller, TX
Another NCAA Division I transfer, 5'4" Napieralski comes to S&T from Ball State University. She competed in three matches in her freshman campaign last fall, playing a total of 38 minutes. Prior to Ball State, Napieralski competed at Keller High School in Keller, Texas.
"Ava is an excellent late addition to our roster. Her versatility allows her to play in multiple positions, and her previous experience at the Division I level with Ball State University adds great value. Technically gifted and tactically aware, she fits our playing style perfectly, and we're eager to see what she brings to the team." —

Lily Simpson | Forward | Lexington, KY
Simpson is a 5'5" forward from Lexington, Kentucky who is transferring to S&T for her sophomore season after spending last year with Emporia State. She picked up five early starts for the Hornets last season and played 66 minutes in her collegiate debut against Minnesota State Mankato.
"After originally committing to S&T last year before exploring other options, we're delighted to have Lily back. She's a powerful forward with a sharp eye for goal, and we're confident she'll make a big impact in the attacking third. We're looking forward to seeing her flourish in our program." —
