Four Golfers Earn Cobalt All-America Scholar Award

NORMAN, Okla. – Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College), Nico Eroles, Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) and Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) have both been named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the second straight season.

Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) was named a CSC Academic All-American Second Team honoree and earned PING All-America Honorable Mention honors. Both Benjamin and Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) earned CSC Academic All-District honors and GLVC All-Academic team honors. Nico Eroles and Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) were also named as Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the second consecutive season. 

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

Benjamin and Komyati were two of 207 total student-athletes from 78 schools that earned the award. Missouri S&T was one of six GLVC schools with award winners.

This is the third straight season that the Miners have had All-American Scholars. It is the second consecutive year that Benjamin and Komyati earned the award.
