ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Men's Soccer has announced the 2025 class of nine players to join the roster this season.
Tyson "Zeke" Beasley | F
Zeke Beasley (Houston, TX/Klein) joins
Cavitt Bruhn (Plano, TX/Plano) as Texas residents on the 2025 S&T roster. Beasley attended Klein High School in Spring, Texas. He also played club soccer for the Houston Rangers MLS Next team.
"Zeke is an exciting, quick and attacking winger from Texas that is going to help us out wide," head coach
Robert Cummings said. "We had the chance to have Zeke attend our senior ID Camp where he did well playing and interacting with the team. Zeke will add great depth out wide."
Iker Bermejo Tajada (Zaragoza, Spain/Cardenal Xavierre) | M
Iker Bermejo Tajada (Zaragoza, Spain/Cardenal Xavierre) joins the Miners out of Zaragoza, Spain. He attended Colegio Cardenal Xavierre and played club for Santo Domingo Juventud. He is the first S&T men's soccer player from Spain since Pablo Gomez in the 2022 season.
"I am very excited to welcome Iker to our team," Cummings said. "Iker is an exciting CM that has been playing in the highest youth leagues in Spain and getting lots of minutes. Iker brings experience playing against some top clubs in Spain."
Ian Conner (Las Vegas, NV/Northwest Career & Technical Academy) | M
As a midfielder from Las Vegas, Nevada,
Ian Conner (Las Vegas, NV/Northwest Career & Technical Academy) joins Missouri S&T from Northwest Career & Technical Academy. On the club side, he played for Las Vegas Heat Surf Soccer Club and had lots of success.
"Ian brings success to our team," Cummings exclaimed. "His club team, LV Heat Surf SC, reached the national finals and semifinals the last two years. Ian is a talented CM that will compete right away. I am excited to see Ian grow as a player here."
Juliano Costa (Porto Alegre, Brazil/Marista Rosario) | F | Porto Alegre, Brazil
Juliano Costa (Porto Alegre, Brazil/Marista Rosario) comes to Rolla as a striker out of Porto Alegre, Brazil. He has experience in the United States at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington. He also attended and played at Colegio Marista Rosario in Brazil.
"Juliano is an exciting striker that comes highly recommended from the same person that assisted
Joao Vieira (Punta del Este, Uruguay/International College) and
Luiz Bernis (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Colegio Santo Antonio) to coming to Missouri S&T," said Cummings. "We are looking forward to Juliano adding some boost on the attack."
Zak Hiles (Raymore, MO/Raymore-Peculiar High School) | B
Zak Hiles (Raymore, MO/Raymore-Peculiar High School) joins the Miners after two years at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Hiles started in 17 matches with 26 total matches played in his career. His first collegiate goal came on Sep. 9, 2023, at Barton Community College.
"I am excited to be able to add someone with the experience that Zak brings," said Cummings. "Zak will bolster our backline either as a CB or OB. Zak was part of a great club team in KCSG 05 out of Kansas City and brings athleticism and experience."
Miles Kroening (Prairie Village, KS/Shawnee Mission East) | B
Miles Kroening (Prairie Village, KS/Shawnee Mission East) attended Shawnee Mission East High School and won the state championship during his senior season. He also played for Union KC on the club side.
"Miles is another KC product that I am excited to bring in," coach Cummings said. "Miles had a great high school season winning state this year and has done well in club with Union KC. Miles is an exciting left back that will add to our left side with his ability to defend and attack from the back."
Nicholas Martinez (Wentzville, MO/St. Dominic) | M
As a midfielder out of Wentzville, Missouri,
Nicholas Martinez (Wentzville, MO/St. Dominic) joins S&T from the prolific program at St. Dominic High School. He played club soccer at JB Marine Baum in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
"Nicholas was our first commit of 2025, and I am excited to have had the chance to watch him develop over the last several years in high school and club," said Cummings. "Nicholas has played for one of the top high schools in the St. Louis area as well as his club team. His club team a few years back made it to nationals but fell just short. He is an exciting CM. Nicholas isn't the first college player in the family as his sister Ashley is an All-Big Ten player at Wisconsin and his parents both graduated from Missouri S&T."
KhiBa Romany (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago/Fatima College) | M |
KhiBa Romany (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago/Fatima College) comes to Rolla after two seasons at Harris-Stowe State University. With the Hornets, Romany played in 14 career matches with one goal scored, a game-winner, on Sep. 4, 2023, at Bethany (KS).
"I am excited to add KhiBa to our team," coach Cummings said. "He will add a boost to our attack this year. He is a very exciting player that has played the last several summers with some of our current players. There is good soccer IQ to his game that I can't wait to see grow here at Missouri S&T."
Mark Tomasovic (Victoria, Australia/St. Joseph's College Geelong) | GK
Mark Tomasovic (Victoria, Australia/St. Joseph's College Geelong) will join the Missouri S&T roster as the only player in program history from Australia. He also joins three other goalkeepers for the 2025 season. Tomasovic attended St. Joseph's College Geelong in Newtown, Australia.
"Mark comes to us from Australia where he's has had a solid youth career as a GK," Cummings said. "I am excited to have Mark join us this year. It's going to be exciting to see the GK's compete this preseason as all are top level GK's."
"I am excited to welcome all 9 of our players to Miner Nation," Cummings exclaimed. "They will add great value to our team on and off the field."
What's Next
These nine players and the rest of the 2025 roster will kick off the season at home on Sep. 6 against Southern Nazarene.
