ROLLA, Mo. – Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) and
Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) have been named to the CSC Academic All-District teams as At-Large selections.
Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) had one of the best performances in Missouri S&T Golf history this season. Benjamin finished the season ranked 45
th nationally and third regionally. His best performance came at the Findlay Spring Invite, where he shot a 198 (-18), the best 54-hole total in S&T history. Benjamin was awarded PING All-Region Team honors and was selected as an All-GLVC member.
Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) finished his junior season ranked 67
th in the nation and fifth in the region. He recorded six top-three performances, including third place at the GLVC Championship. Komyati picked up 10
th place in the 127-golfer field at the NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional to guide the Miners to the national championship. He was also named to the PING All-Region Team and earned automatic All-GLVC honors with his third-place finish at the GLVC Championship.
Both student-athletes have been nominated for CSC At-Large All-America honors. That will be announced on July 9 at 11 a.m.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
