PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- The Miners concluded stroke play today, finishing in 3rd place with a -1. They will go on to make their first appearance in national match play for the first time in school history tomorrow morning.
S&T started today's third and final round of stroke play strong, with
Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School),
Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson), and
Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) combining for 5 eagles in the first 10 holes. Holes 11-18 proved troublesome again for S&T, causing the Miners to lose some strokes before ultimately holding on to secure the third spot in match play.
To shot -3 today, leading S&T in the final round and helping him earn 19th individually in stroke play.
