WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – Missouri S&T Golf won the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff this week to open the spring slate of the 2024-25 season.
Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) recorded a second-place finish for the Miners. He finished at a +7 for S&T, six strokes behind USF's Matthew Joseph. Komyati went even on day three of the invitational as he recorded four birdies, the most on the team.
Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) finished just behind him in third place. He was one stroke behind Komyati at +8. He shot even in the second round and +2 in round three to guide him to a third-place finish.

Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School), who picked up a sixth-place finish. Overall, To shot +13 in the invitational and shot +5 in the first and second rounds with a +3 in the third round.
Rizq Adam Rohizam () rounded out the top 10 for S&T as he recorded seventh place.
Nicolas Estrada (Zaragoza, Spain/IES Valdespartera) placed 11
th and
Jack Coleman (Milton Keynes, England/Walton) collected a 24
th place finish.
S&T shot +36 overall after they shot just five over par in the third round. They finished above McKendree, who placed in eighth at +71. Northern Michigan, Walsh, Roosevelt and Saint Xavier were the rest of the teams at the invitational.
For Missouri S&T, it is their third first-place finish of the season. They also were in first at the UIndy Fall Invitational and the Bill Crabtree Invitational back in the fall. Between all five of their invitationals, they have finished in the top three in each one.
What's Next
S&T will go back out on the road to the Hillcat Classic on Mar. 10-11 in Owasso, Oklahoma. Following that invitational, S&T will play in the Findlay Spring Invitational from Mar. 24-25 in Richmond, Kentucky.
