UIndy's Josie Jager would add two more runs with a double to left center near the end of the 1st, extending the Hounds' lead to 3-0. A lead off single by LaChappell would set the Miners up for their first run of the day off a

Tori Thompson (Chandler, AZ/) would bring Grobe home in the next at bat, making it 3-2 heading into the top of the 2nd.
S&T would fall behind by four runs in the next two innings, with the Greyhounds taking advantage of a handful of Miner errors to stretch their lead to 6-2.
