ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Baseball is at Indianapolis this weekend for two doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday starting at 11 a.m. CT.

Series History

Indianapolis is 22-12 all-time against Missouri S&T dating back to 2006. These two teams played each other last season in Rolla. The Greyhounds swept the Miners in that series. The last S&T wins came on Apr. 10, 2022, with scores of 14-5 and 15-7.

About the Greyhounds

Indianapolis is 11-12 this season with a 4-3 GLVC record. They won two out of three games at Illinois Springfield followed by a series split at Maryville. This weekend will be their GLVC home opener. In their latest 11-3 victory against Purdue Northwest, Austin Bode was 4-for-5 with a walk, three runs and three RBI.

Easton Good leads UIndy with a .387 batting average and 1.214 OPS. On the pitching side, Dawson Gabe leads the team with a 5.58 ERA. Diego Cardenas has pitched 32 2/3 innings and has 38 punchouts. UIndy went 41-21 last season and make the College World Series. They were picked to finish in first place in the GLVC Preseason Poll.

About the Miners

S&T is 15-8 this season and 8-4 in the GLVC for third place. Following a series win over McKendree last weekend, the Miners took down #17 Harding on the road on Tuesday. In that game, Tyler Prince (Mexico, MO/Mexico) went 4-for-4 with a walk, four runs scored and three RBI. The pitching staff allowed just four hits and four walks with no runs.

Garrett Meyer (Jacksonville, IL/Jacksonville) leads Missouri S&T with his .364 batting average and seven doubles. Prince has 12 extra-base hits and a 1.201 OPS to lead the team. Jake Schisler's (Quincy, IL/Quincy Notre Dame) 2.10 ERA, Ethan Morrow's (Lenexa, KS/Shawnee Mission West) 2.67 and Dylan Bates' (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt West) 3.00 are all in the top four in the GLVC.

What's Next

After this series, the Miners will go to William Jewell next weekend from Apr. 4-6. After a neutral site contest against Trevecca Nazarene on Apr. 8, S&T will come back home to play Drury on Apr. 11-13.
