ROLLA, MO  --  Nate Meyer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) earned his second player of the week award this season, this time being named the Defensive Player of the Week after earning Offensive honors on February 3rd.

Meyer recorded 2 blocks, 13 digs, and 4 service aces in the Miners' two matches this week, helping them defeat IVA opponents Rockhurst and Roosevelt 3-0 and 3-1, respectively. His efforts were part of a Miner defense that recordeed 23.5 blocks this week, including a 13.5 block performance against the Roosevelt Lakers that set a new season-high for S&T.
