ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball is on the road on Saturday to rematch with Upper Iowa at 1 p.m.
Series History
S&T is an undefeated 3-0 against Upper Iowa in their history. In their two games in GLVC play, the Miners are 2-0. In their 66-64 win back on Dec. 5, 2024,
Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) gave the Miners a last-second victory with a layup.
Norah Gum (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) led the team with 15 points in that game, while Mia Huberty tallied 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
About the Peacocks
Since their game at Gibson Arena, Upper Iowa has gone 7-7, while they are 10-10 overall and 7-7 in the GLVC. In their latest 66-41 win over Lincoln on Thursday, Kayla Bohr had 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting. Anna Soler grabbed nine rebounds for the Peacocks.
Huberty leads the team with 18.9 points per game. That mark leads the GLVC and is 20
th in NCAA DII. On the glass, Helen Staley is first on the team with 7.8 rebounds per game. Her 2.3 A/TO ratio ranks tied for second in the conference, while Huberty's 34.8 minutes per game is second. The Peacocks were projected to finish in fifth place in the GLVC preseason poll.
About the Miners
S&T is 11-8 overall and 6-7 in the GLVC going into this game. They are in eighth place in the conference, one spot behind Upper Iowa. In their 61-76 loss at Quincy on Thursday,
Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) picked up 19 points, nine rebounds and five blocks. She also shot 8-for-12 from the field to lead the team.
Roberts leads the team with 11.9 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game. Her 2.2 blocks per game is first in the conference, while her 51.9 field goal percentage ranks sixth.
Anna Finley's (Owensville, MO/Owensville) 2.3 A/TO ratio is also tied for second in the GLVC this season. S&T's 36.7 field goal percentage defense is second in the GLVC this season.
