Women's Basketball Conclude 2024-25 Regular Season at Drury

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball will play in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at Drury at 1 p.m.

Series History

Drury is 37-7 all-time versus Missouri S&T going back to the inaugural 1974-75 season. S&T ended a 23-game losing streak earlier this season in a 63-57 win on Jan. 11 at Gibson Arena. Norah Gum (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) had 17 points for the Miners, while Makaiya Brooks tallied 18 points for the Panthers. The last Miners win in Springfield came on Dec. 6, 2012.

About the Panthers

Drury is 20-6 overall this season with a 16-3 record in the GLVC. They are on a four-game winning streak and have an 11-3 record at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury is 9-2 since their game against Missouri S&T on Jan. 11. In their latest 62-55 win at UMSL on Thursday, Caitlynn Daniels recorded 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and five steals.

Rhi Gibbons leads the team with 14.2 points per game, while Daniels is second with 13.7 per game. Sara Mendel is first on the team and fourth in the GLVC with 8.4 rebounds per game. Drury's 78.3 points per game ranks first in the conference, while their 68.3 points allowed per game is ninth.

About the Miners

The Miners are 15-10 overall and 10-9 in the GLVC this season. They are on a two-game losing streak with losses at Rockhurst and Lincoln. S&T is 5-5 on the road this season after those two games. In their 53-61 loss at Lincoln on Thursday, Anna Finley (Owensville, MO/Owensville) recorded 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the team. She shot 8-for-14 from the field and 5-for-11 from three-point range.

Finley leads the team with 12.9 points per game, 39.1% three-point shooting and 62 total assists. Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) is averaging 12.1 points per game and six rebounds. Her 2.3 blocks per game is first in the GLVC. S&T's 60.5 points allowed per game is third in the conference. They are ranked second in blocks per game and fourth in rebounds.
