ROLLA, MO  --  The Miners dropped to #9 in the newest National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, falling four places after last week's loss on the road to the Upper Iowa Peacocks.

The team went 1-1 last week taking Thursday's game at Quincy 91-82 before suffering their first loss in 2025 to Upper Iowa 100-85. The loss snapped a 12 game win streak for S&T and ended their undefeated GLVC record, dropping to 13-1 in-conference.

Despite the loss, the Miners continue to dominate the GLVC statistical leaderboards, ranking in the top three in 18 key categories. They are 6th in Divison II for scoring margin and 8th in field goal percentage.

The team hosts William Jewell and Truman State this week in their final home games of the regular season.
