ROLLA, MO  --  Missouri S&T Men's Basketball moved to #12 in the newest poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches, dropping seven spots after Saturday's loss to Upper Iowa in Fayette. The Miners picked up victories over Lincoln and Quincy last week before falling by seven points to Upper Iowa in a long road week.

S&T remains the only ranked team from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while Upper Iowa is now receiving votes. The Miners are the second-highest ranked team in the Midwest region, sitting just behind Michigan Tech (8-1) who is in 11th.

Games against Westminster and Northwest Missouri State are in store for S&T this week before they travel to Las Vegas for the Great Western Shootout on December 19th & 20th.
