ROLLA, MO  --  Missouri S&T men's basketball is back in the top 10 of the National Association of Basketball Coaches rankings this week. The Miners picked up victories over Westminster and Northwest Missouri State last week, moving them up two spots to #10 in the national poll.

The Miners defeated Westminster 100-56 last Tuesday and Northwest Missouri State 80-54 on Saturday. They move up to #10 from #12 after five of the top ten teams in the nation suffered losses last week. The Miners leapt last week's #6 North Goergia, #7 St. Mary's (TX), and #10 Point Loma.

S&T is no longer the only Great Lakes Valley Conference team in the rankings now that Upper Iowa has risen to #24 in the most recent poll. The Miners are still the second-highest ranked team Midwest region, with Michigan Tech being the only other team from the region above them at #9.
