10/9/2025 9:00:00 AM

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's football team will face a nationally-ranked team for the first time in the 2025 season this weekend as the Miners play host to 18th-ranked Indianapolis in a 4 p.m. contest at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

The Miners will be looking to get back above the .500 mark on the season as they enter the contest at 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference following a 36-26 loss Saturday on Homecoming to Upper Iowa.  The Miners trailed 21-19 at the end of three quarters, but Upper Iowa reached the end zone on back-to-back possessions in the fourth quarter to keep the Miners at bay.

UIndy went to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the GLVC after a 63-17 home victory Saturday over William Jewell, as the Greyhounds rolled up 640 yards of total offense in posting their highest point total in a game in nearly four years.

Saturday's game will be Missouri S&T Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at Allgood-Bailey Stadium; faculty and staff members that present their university identification cards at the gate will receive free admission for themselves and their immediate families.
