Biography

2024: Finished the season with 18 receptions for 215 yards and two touchdowns…recorded a season-high five catches against Wayne State (Neb.), where he scored one of his two touchdowns; the other score came against McKendree…had a season-long 38-yard catch at Upper Iowa…member of the GLVC All-Academic team and was S&T’s recipient of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award from the GLVC for the sport of football…member of College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

2023: Named honorable mention All-GLVC...hauled in 31 passes for 277 yards and six touchdowns, which ranked second on the team...had a season-high seven catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns against NCAA playoff participant Delta State...also had six receptions against McKendree...threw a 64-yard touchdown pass on a fourth down play in S&T's win at Southwest Baptist, the longest scoring pass by a Miner during the season...scoring pass began a game-ending 24-0 run by the Miners...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2022: Was redshirted for the season...member of GLVC All-Academic team and was named as a Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar by the GLVC.

High School: Led his team in receptions and receiving yards as a senior (40 receptions for 687 yards and five touchdowns), allowing him to earn first-team all-state, all-district and all-conference honors...was a second-team all-district and all-conference selection at tight end in 2020 and earned honorable mention all-conference honors at defensive end...earned academic all-state honors...played on teams that won two district and conference championships and was the state runner-up in 2021.

Personal: Attended Liberty North High School, where he was coached by Greg Jones...son of Ryan and Stacy Braden...competes in track & field at S&T and finished fifth in the javelin throw at the 2023 and 2024 GLVC Outdoor Championships that was won by the Miners...majoring in electrical engineering at Missouri S&T.
