LAS VEGAS, NV -- Missouri S&T Men's Golf finished 23 under par at the National Preview this week, taking third place as a team while
Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) earned runner up honors in a tie for 2nd. To was not the only Miner to finish in the top 20, with
Li Kasule () and
Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) finishing T6th and T20th, respectively.
To and Kasule led the Miners after the opening round of the tournament, both shooting even while S&T went +3 as a team. The team found their strike in the second round yesterday, with To recording 8 birdies to finish -7 on the day. Kasule and Rohizam contributed to the strong second round with a -6 and a -4, helping the Miners shoot -16 in the round to end the day at 13 under.
All four countable scores were below par on the final round of the event, with To having another strong round to finish -11 overall and tie for runner-up. Kasule's -3 in the last round helped him finish the tournament -9, tying for 6th place. Rohizam finished T20th with a -5, while
Chayton Jordan () and
Thomas Heisner (Crestwood, MO/Lindbergh) went +2 and +17.
What's Next
