OWENSBORO, KY  —  The Miners ended the first half of their season on a high note, winning their first invite earlier today at The Pearl Club.

S&T finished 9-under, 22 strokes ahead of Maryville who came in second. The team followed up a solid -2 first round with a -7 in day two.

Individually, the Miners claimed the top three spots, with Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) finishing in first place (-4) and Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) tying with Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) for second (-3). Li Kasule () also grabbed a top 10 finish with a +5.

What's Next

The Miners will be back in action next semester for the second half of their season.
