Women's Soccer Earns Hard-Fought Draw Against Truman State

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T women's soccer battled through a defensive showdown Friday night, earning a 0-0 draw against Truman State in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

The Miners (6-6-2, 4-5-2 GLVC) controlled possession and created numerous chances throughout the match, outshooting the Bulldogs 18-10 and forcing four saves from Trumans goalkeeper.

Adriana Benassi (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit) led S&T's attack with four shots, including one on goal, while Brooke Bendoff (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood), Grace Kohler (Roca, NE/Norris), and Aubrey Case (Yorktown, VA/Tabb) each added one shot on target. Ella Kramer (Liberty, MO/Liberty North) and Greycen Erisman (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) contributed two shots apiece as the Miners continued to pressure the Bulldogs' defense across both halves.

Defensively, Anastasia Barcom (St. Louis, MO/Rosati-Kain) anchored the Miners in net, collecting six saves to record her fifth shutout of the season. The back line, featuring Savannah Tully (Elkhart, IN/Elkhart), Grace Kohler (Roca, NE/Norris), and Sarah Henze (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville), held Truman State without a goal despite 10 total attempts.

This game highlights another strong defensive performance from Missouri S&T, as the Miners have allowed just two goals over their last three matches.
