11/26/2024 2:00:00 PM

ROLLA, Mo.  --  Gideon Niboh (St. Charles, MO/Francis Howell) headlines an S&T squad that sees ten Miners earn All-Conference honors, with Niboh earning Special Teams Player of the Year as well both first and second team honors. Niboh is joined on the first team by Cole Littrell (Jonesboro, AR/Valley View), CJ Wiggins (Yuma, AZ/Gila Ridge), Bentley Hart (Brookland, AR/Brookland), and Carson Prenger (Jefferson City, MO/Blair Oaks).

Niboh capped off an already impressive career with a 2024 season that saw him set numerous personal bests, as well as break a pair of school records. He recorded three return touchdowns this year, two off of punts and one from a kickoff, breaking the school record for both return touchdowns and punt return touchdowns. He also became the first Miner, and only the third GLVC athlete, to score a rushing, receiving, and return touchdown in the same game during the contest against Southwest Baptist, a performance for which he earned his third GLVC Player of the Week award.

Cole Littrell (Jonesboro, AR/Valley View) was a key piece of the Miners offensive line this season, starting all 11 games and playing 634 snaps. He recorded 58 knockdowns and earned an 89% grade. He helped the Miners hold opponents to just 23 sacks this season.

CJ Wiggins (Yuma, AZ/Gila Ridge) led the Miners in receiving yards for the second season in a row and this season took over as receiving touchdown leader as well. He ranked in the top three in the GLVC for reception yards, touchdowns, yards per reception, and yards per game. On the national level, his 18.7 yards per reception was the 28th highest in Division II.

Bentley Hart (Brookland, AR/Brookland) led the Miners in sacks this season with 6.5 which was also enough to place him second in the conference in that statistic. He now has 16 career sacks with the Miners, placing in ninth on the all-time list.

Carson Prenger (Jefferson City, MO/Blair Oaks) was a thorn in every opposing offense's side this season, racking up 93 tackles for an average of 8.5 per game... the second most in the GLVC. Of those 93 tackles, 55 were solo tackles, giving Prenger an average of 5 solo tackles per game that was tied for the 22nd most in the country.

Graham Carter (Liberty, MO/Liberty North) earned first team honors as well, coming off second team honors from the 2023 season. Carter served as S&T's long snapper this season, starting in all 11 games this year.
