ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Swimming is back in action this week at the House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Miners are coming off a close 541.2-590.4 loss on Oct. 26 at Kansas/South Dakota. In that meet on day one,
Artur Becker () had a career day with new personal bests in the 200IM (1:55.28) and the 100 breast (58:11).
Kevin Williams (Houston, TX/Westside) swam a personal best 10:00.22 in the 1000 free. S&T had seven gold medalists, 11 silver medalists and five bronze medals.
Since that meet, the Miners have been off and practicing at home. S&T has scored 623.45 total points this season which ranks eighth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and 31
st in NCAA Division II. In the CSCAA poll, the Miners went down from #24 to receiving votes in the latest poll.
Missouri S&T did not compete in the House of Champions last season. This meet is being hosted by Indiana University-Indianapolis.
What's Next
The Miners will stay on the road for their next three meets until they return home on Jan. 24. They will go to Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 13 to face the Tritons at 3 p.m. They will be back in action when the calendar flips to take on Quincy on Jan. 11.
