ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Swimming is set to travel west to take on Kansas/South Dakota on Friday and Saturday.
The Miners are coming off a loss at McKendree and Indianapolis this past weekend. In that meet,
Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium) swam a season-best 46.52 in the 100-yard free to pick up a third-place finish.
Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) recorded fifth in that event with a 46.96 finish.
The Jayhawks only sport a women's swim team so S&T will face South Dakota on the men's side. The South Dakota men are coming off a 59-241 loss against Minnesota on Oct. 4.
In the CSCAA preseason poll, five GLVC teams were ranked. Missouri S&T opened the season at number 24.
The Miners and Coyotes did not face each other during the 2023-24 season.
What's Next
Missouri S&T will get almost a month off as they are not back in action until Nov. 21-23. During that weekend, the Miners will travel to the House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following that meet, S&T takes on Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 13.
