Lewis had a 14-5 advantage in shots in the game, but the Miners (5-5-3, 4-5-1 GLVC) had two good scoring chances in the second half. The first came in the 62
nd minute when the Miners got a free kick into the box, but couldn't get a shot on net, then
Beth Roberts (Lake St. Louis, MO/Liberty) had a shot stopped moments later. S&T had another chance about 10 minutes later, but
Aubrey Case's (Yorktown, VA/Tabb) shot into the frame was turned away.
Roberts had two of S&T's five shots in the contest, while
