ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's men's and women's soccer teams will host exhibition games on Friday against Mineral Area College as both teams are wrapping up their spring practice sessions.
The women's team, under the direction of new head coach
Jane Grimley, will take the field against the Cardinals at 5 p.m., with the men's game to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's contest. Both games are slated to take place at Rolla High School.
Missouri S&T's women's team is coming off its most successful season since 2014 as it went 9-6-3 overall and 7-4-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference; the Miners also won their opening round game in the GLVC Tournament before falling to Drury in overtime in the semifinals. The S&T men's team, coached by Rob Cummings, finished the 2021 campaign with a 6-8-2 overall record and was 5-7-2 in conference play.
Admission to Friday's games is free to all fans.
